Who am I? What do I do?

My callsign is GOR. I am an officer of the Ukrainian Army. Before the war I was an ordinary civilian. Two and a half years ago I started to create unique coasters for on-board military watches (also you can know it as stands for migclock, aircraft clock stand, clocks made from aircraft parts, soviet / russian MIG aircraft cockpit clock etc. Such coasters are familiar to every aviator and are of great value to collectors. They are also one of the symbols of Soviet military aviation.

My production is located in one of the most dangerous areas of Kharkiv – “Saltovka”. It’s hard to describe what was going on there a couple of months ago. Fortunately, The Ukrainian army is defending and liberating our land every day. Thanks to this my shop survived and the staff was even able to return to work. The enemy wanted to destroy our people and lands, but was beaten back on all fronts. Thus, despite my daily military duties, I find time to create and continue this project.

History of creation

I spent my entire childhood living in various military camps that were right on military airfields. My father was a pilot of the legendary MiG-25. He gave me this love of aviation, which led to my studies in a military academy.

After the fall of the USSR, all that was left after my father’s plane was his chronograph watch. But a problem occurred – to use the watch in daily life I needed a stand, which I did not know where to find.

I searched over the Internet, but could not find anything suitable. Then it was decided to invent and make something of my own.

My first invention was a black stand with a MiG-25 aircraft.

I showed the result to my friends who are skilled in this field. Everyone supported my realization, which means I’m on the right track. Later I kept meeting people who saw such a chronograph for the first time. They were very interested in my products and ordered them. All this gave me the motivation to keep going on.

Thanks to numerous orders, the product range has expanded, both in terms of types of flying devices and the variety of materials and technologies used. At the moment I develop coasters for military and tank watches. More than 20 kinds of different shapes appeared. Everyone can choose a stand based on their personal needs.

Thus, my wish to solve my own problem turned into a small business project.

Today, this experience allows us to accept orders for watch stands for absolutely any aircraft type: country of origin, model, year of manufacture, etc.

My team and I continue to work on improving this idea, and our satisfied customers motivate us!

Various types of equipment are used in production, allowing us to make each order individual and of high quality:

Laser cutting machine for metal cutting;
Numerically controlled bending machine – allows us to make complex shapes;
Laser engraving machine – allows us to have a palette of 28 color shades;
Thermal chamber for polymer coating;
Non-contact chemical polishing equipment with application of titanium nitride is used for some orders.

Our production complies with environmental standards. The materials and working processes used do not pose a threat to health or the environment.

Part of the profit goes to help the Ukrainian army, which participates in the defense of Kharkiv and Kharkiv region.
